Well, how am I supposed to know that?

I kind of thought you'd have at least the basics of things down.

[He knows how to get around, that's good enough for him.]

[ He did not detail what he meant by 'civilized' and Sharon is going to take full advantage of that. ]

He also seems to have forgotten there's a wide range between civilised and nobility. I don't get kicked out of towns because of how I act.

Well, he didn't give me any idea of what he expected from a "civilized" [ those quotes are damn near audible here ] you so I figure we can take advantage of that. Maybe just get you adjusted to what life is like here. Fake a few things here and there. Get you a stupid fancy outfit that fits with Trench style. You know, that kind of shit.

And while we do that, you can tell me about how you saved his life. And... why you get kicked out of towns. Because I'm curious.

It's not much of a story, we were up against Death and I saved the day by stabbing it.

Death? [ listen give her a moment. she's sputtering a little. ] Like a vampire named Death? Or... are we talking about like... the Grim Reaper?

And that's not much of a story to you? [ her voice pitches high. excuse you that is story material + ] Do you have any idea how badass that sounds!?

[He didn't make out out alive and he left a pregnant woman behind. Neither is the kind of thing you drop on people without warning so instead he makes a noise of disagreement.]

You just keep making yourself sound cooler. [ She gets why Alucard talks about Trevor the way he does but he's been giving her 'mangy but awesome stray dog' vibes. ]

[ it's not a holiday or a celebration he cares all that much about. but with sypha not here and them being by themselves . . . it seemed fitting to extend a little camaraderie. so he comes by, bearing drinks. ]

[Trevor is very tempted to drink straight from the bottle and pass the rest back, but he also needs to prove a point. So instead he retrieves two mugs, pours them and pushes one to Alucard.]

So are you still brooding or have you found an actual place to stay?

[He takes a deep swig in lieu of answering immediately.]

So finish your drink and you can grab your stuff.

[Privately he doubts there is any, but it'll give Alucard time to pull himself together.]
